These materials show station staff's commitment to providing North Carolina tobacco farmers with information on tobacco diseases and with advice on best agricultural practices. Over the course of a century of research on tobacco, the Station gained an international reputation as a leading center of tobacco science under Charlottetown Research Station direction of project leaders in Agronomy, Botany, Entomology, Engineering and Pathology.
The main office-laboratory complex in Charlottetown has 65 hectares of land and over 7000 square meters of lab and office space; the Harrington Research Farm, located 11 kilometres north of Charlottetown, has 330 hectares of land and a state-of-the-art greenhouse facility Submitted on May 14, 2020, by Cosmos Mariner of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
